ViSLAB is the leading-edge site in Australia for advanced visualization, graphics, and collaboration technologies. It was created in 2003 as a successor to the Sydney Vislab, which was originally funded by the Australian Research Council as a collaborative research infrastructure providing scientific visualisation services. The new ViSLAB focuses on leading-edge advanced research in the following fields:

  • Data Visualization (both Scientific and Information Visualization)
  • Computer Graphics
  • Computer Vision,
  • Collaboration Technologies, and
  • Human-X-Interaction/Interface.
